1310 nm MM fiber optic circulator
Introduce
1310 nm MM fiber optic circulator is a three-port device in which light propagates in only one direction. If a signal is input from port 1, it will be output from port 2; if a signal is input from port 2, it will be output from port 3, with very low output loss in both cases. However, when light is input from port 2, the loss is very high when output from port 1, and similarly, when light is input from port 3, the loss is also very high when output from ports 1 and 2. Optical circulators are non-reciprocal optical devices. Due to their high isolation and low insertion loss, fiber optic circulators are widely used in advanced communication systems, such as add-drop multiplexers, bidirectional pumping systems, and dispersion compensation devices.
